Turbo coronatus, common name : the Coronate Moon Turban or Crowned Turban Shell, is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Turbinidae, the turban snails.

Some authors place the name in the subgenus Turbo (Lunella) or in the genus Lunella (Lunella)

Description

The shell size varies between 20 mm and 50 mm

Distribution

The species is distributed in the Red Sea and in the Indian Ocean along Kenya, Tanzania, Madagascar, Mozambique and in the Western Pacific.
